Over the past 15 years we’ve worked with well over 100 local authorities and organisations such as WRAP to provide ‘hands on’ support, help and guidance across the following areas:
- Introduction of new and improved collection services;
- Promotion of existing and revised services to increase recycling rates;
- Campaign planning and delivery;
- Branding, digital and print design;
- Stakeholder engagement;
- Website development;
- Photography;
- Social media;
- Bespoke training and project facilitation; and
- Interim project management.
We have a specialist knowledge and experience of the waste, recycling and re-use industry as well as private sector businesses. We deliver behavioural change programmes and help our clients engage and connect with householders and internal audiences to achieve their operational and communication objectives. We have, for example, just completed the introduction of wheeled bins for recycling, garden and residual waste services for Birmingham City Council, the largest local authority in Europe.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea found that a lot of paper and glass was finding its way into the rubbish bin instead of being recycled.
We regularly have to help clients communicate day changes to householders when they make improvements and revisions to collections services.
We have produced designs for Cakesmiths for a rather useful giveaway - cake tongs for their coffee shop clients to use to serve their cakes. The design is actually branded into the wooden tongs!
Resource London (RL) is the new, jointly funded support programme for London waste authorities delivered in partnership by the London Waste and Recycling Board and WRAP; its primary goal is to help local authorities across London achieve 50% recycling by 2020.
Linx2Schools was established as an LAA funded project by Walsall Council. It provides a link between schoolteachers and the services that are available to enrich their syllabus and the children’s educational experience
Because of the rapid increase in refurbished electrical goods, we were asked to produce a ‘mark’ for approved re-used electrical household equipment by WRAP and BIS.
A lot of councils seem to be going from free to paid for garden waste collections with the aim of saving money.
All the material had to be produced bilingually, using the latest Good to Know Recycle Now Styles – a first to be produced in both Welsh and English.
We are currently helping the London Borough of Enfield reduce the contamination they are getting in their recycling bins.
